The Northeast HamXposition is held at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center, 181 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA on the fourth weekend of August. The event attracts hobbyists, makers, science and STEM enthusiasts, school and scout groups, and amateur radio operators from all over New England. Your admission ticket is good for all three days. STARS/NEST will host a double booth in the Atrium on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and will host the Youth Forum and four talks by youth members. STARS/NEST will also host four soldering workshop tables and hangout area for members and friends of STARS. Workshops in Kit Soldering for Beginners is offered on Friday at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 pm. See details below. STARS/NEST will help supervise youth members if parents can't stay with them for the day. See details below.
STARS will have a "Club Table" (or 2 or 3) at both the Friday DXCC Dinner and the Saturday Grand Banquet. To sign up for the club's tables be sure to put the word "STARS" in the comment field when you purchase your banquet reservations. (Dinner ticket purchasing closes August 20th. All online ticketing closes August 23rd.)
STARS/NEST will share a Flea Market booth outside. Let us know if you have stuff you want to bring and sell there. The only requirement is that you volunteer to help staff the tables for some of the day.
