OPEN HOUSE – Visit and tour our facility with your family. Families that need to bring students to see the facility may call us to book a time that may be more convenient for your student.
PUBLIC TELESCOPE NIGHTS – Join us for stargazing on one of the highest hills in Natick. On a typical evening we will turn our telescopes toward the moon, planets, stars, and other objects in the night sky, weather permitting. Appropriate for children ages 6 and up.
ADULT ED – New England Sci-Tech's Maker Space is also for adult makers, inventors, coders, costumers, quilters, and decorators. We can offer you and your friends a workshop to get you started, and memberships to keep you going.
AMATEUR RADIO LICENSE EXAMS – The Volunteer Examiner Team of New England Amateur Radio, Inc. (NEAR) offers regular in-person amateur radio license exams here at New England Sci-Tech. Visit the radio room for a tour and discussion of opportunities with amateur radio.
VOLUNTEER – Are you a motivated teen or adult interested in helping a community of educators in a community of learners? Volunteer and teen internship positions are available in leadership roles that may qualify you for a letter of recommendation or a certificate of community service hours.
DONATE – As a non-profit corporation operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, New England Sci-Tech welcomes contributions toward educational purpose and “gifts-in-kind” donations of tools and supplies for supporting various STEM activities.
PUBLIC PLANETARIUM SHOWS – As a public service we occasionally offer public planetarium shows in conjunction with other events. We have a variety of multimedia shows and can do a live star show as well. Appropriate for children ages 9 and up.
